It's been a very exciting week here.  Several months ago I was asked to be profiled in Luxe Magazine.  The opportunity took me by surprise and I am eternally grateful and humbled that it came my way.  Not only am I honored to be featured in this luxury magazine it gave me a whole new perspective on what it was like to be on the other side of the camera. Many of you that have met me know that aside from photography I am also very passionate about painting.  I started painting more then a decade ago and in 2004 I set the groundwork for making it a full time career.  In 2005 I left a 10 year career in corporate interior design to focus on a very different aspect of the interior environment.  It was an opportunity to express a much more personal side of my creativity and at the same time be able to listen to and deliver what my clients were looking for.

It was after the birth of our son that I discovered that this photography hobbiest had more to offer.  Over the course of the past (almost) 2 years I've immersed myself in the world of photography, reading, studying, practicing and doing all in tandem with my painting endeavors. Now my camera shares a shelf with my paint brushes.  I can't imagine ever being without either and I am so grateful that the continued support and encouragement from my clients, family and friends have made it possible.  My experiences with both interior design and painting have had a very strong impact and influence on the way I see the world through a lens and ultimately present the captured memories and photos of you and your families.
